TXT2GET was established in 2006 by Peter Barrett and Marty Verry to provide the world’s businesses with the simplest and most cost-effective software as a service (SaaS) to improve the results to
their advertising using mobile SMS/TXT marketing.
In 2008 the company raised venture capital through fast-growth investment backer, Eros Capital Ltd. TXT2GET launched first in New Zealand in September 2008 and Australia in September 2009. It will launch its service in the USA by the middle of 2010, with further roll-outs during the year.
TXT2GET has strategic partnerships with major media companies such as Juice TV, APN Outdoor – NZ’s largest billboard company, and The Radio Network (TRN) – New Zealand’s largest radio network.
The TXT2GET solution was developed in Wellington, New Zealand where its global systems are run, developed and supported from. TXT2GET’s IT architecture has been designed to scale globally, and is built on a similar IT infrastructure as the Apple iTunes store, and is hosted in the same secure environment as several major banks. The TXT2GET website uses secure socket layer (SSL) encryption.
TXT2GET is the trusted solution for many of Australasia’s major corporates, including; Westpac Bank, Telstra Clear, Century21, Ernst & Young and Remax.
