1. What is Mobile/Text marketing?
Mobile marketing describes marketing on or with a mobile phone. This can be either through a text message campaign (which uses Shortcodes and Keywords) or through delivery of generic messages to the mass public.

There are 3 billion mobile users in the world today and a person sees 6 million ads in his/her lifetime on average. Adding a text keyword to your ads and signage can boost response rates by 30%, as well as provide enquirer details and help tell which advertising works best. Its marketing’s missing link.

Mobile  Marketing TXT2GET

1. How do I use TXT2GET Mobile Marketing?
Refer to the ‘How Does it Work’ page for details on how TXT2GET Mobile Marketing works as well as Mobile Marketing tutorial videos
2. How safe is it to use my credit card online?
Payments are processed by Payment Express which is a Visa and MasterCard certified solution, developed by DPS, which facilitates electronic payments seamlessly from multiple access points. Please visit their site for more details on security (www.paymentexpress.com).
3. Which countries can I use Txt2Get Mobile Marketing for?
TXT2GET Mobile Marketing is currently in New Zealand, Australia and USA. Email mobi@txt2get.com if you are interested in helping launch it elsewhere!

Mobile Marketing Free Trial/Sign-Up

1. How do I sign-up?
Follow the sign-up tab found on the top of the page and click on the tab. It will open up the sign-up page where you enter your details to register.
2. How do I use the Mobile Marketing Free Trial option?
To sign-up under Mobile Marketing Free Trial, go to the homepage, click on the Free Trial button and follow the instructions from there.
3. How does Mobile Marketing Free Trial work?
The Free Trial feature lets you use the system for free for 7 days FROM the day you sign-up. You’re allowed to “purchase” one Mobile Marketing keyword and setup a Mobile Marketing campaign on it to familiarize yourself with the system. You may also market your Mobile Marketing keyword however if you want to continue beyond the 7 days ensure to purchase the Mobile Marketing keyword when you receive the expiry emails.
4. What happens if my Mobile Marketing Free trial period ends and I haven’t used it yet?
Unfortunately this is a free feature we provide so if you missed out on your free session we will not be able to give you another one.
5. I’ve forgotten my Mobile Marketing password! Help?
Click the link by the login boxes which says 'forgot password'. Please include your email address. Note – for security purposes we will only supply Mobile Marketing passwords to the e-mail address we have on file for that username.


Mobile Marketing Keywords

1. Mobile Marketing Keyword - How Do I purchase?
Follow any of the Keyword search links (available throughout the site) and search for the word you are after (minimum of 2 characters and maximum of 25 characters). If your word is available follow the steps in the easy wizard to complete the purchase of your keyword.
2. What is the difference between a DATA plan and a FREE plan keyword?
A DATA plan keyword is one with a pricepoint of 20c. This means, that the person texting to this shortcode/plan will pay 20c per text. If you choose DATA plan, you have to pay a fee to activate the campaign and keep it running. As a result, you will have full visibility of the responses to your campaigns - texter number, email address, time of text and any other details provided by the texter.
A FREE plan keyword is one with a pricepoint of 99c. You do not pay a monthly fee to activate or run this campaign however you do not have full visibility of responses - only the number of responses on any given day.
3. What options do I have in the case where a Mobile Marketing Keyword I want is not available?
There are three reasons why Keywords may not be available:
1. The Keyword is already purchased by another client - in this case you can search to find out who is using the current keyword and you may speak to this client directly to negotiate a transfer of the keyword whereby you “buy” it off that client.
2. The Keyword is a blacklisted word – this is for offensive words that are not allowed by TXT2GET.
3. It is not alphanumeric or does not contain at least 2 characters
4. When I purchase a keyword how long do I own it before it goes back into the public domain?
You can purchase a keyword for a year ($95.00) or more initially. You own it for whatever period you buy it for. At the end of that period, we will prompt you via email to remind you to roll it over. If you don’t respond to one of the 3 staggered email reminders, the keyword will revert to the public pool at the date the period ends. So the whole process is just the same as web site domains.
5. What happens if I want a keyword for a longer period than I purchased it for?
There is a renew option next to your keyword under the ‘My Keywords’ section (when you are logged in). Click on that button and follow the steps to increase the term of your keyword


Campaigns

1. How long does it take for text messages to get to a responder?
Typically in seconds!
2. How long does it take to set up a campaign and run it?
It can take as little as 10 minutes to set up. All you need to do is purchase a keyword and set up either a text, email or post campaign on that keyword. The campaign can be run for as long as you need to depending on your marketing strategy. Minimum length for a campaign is one month however there is no limit to how long it can go for.
3. How do I cancel or stop a campaign?
When enquiring on your Campaign Manager, each campaign has a deactivation option on the right hand side. This allows you to deactivate your current campaign.
4. Am I permitted to reuse my marketing campaigns?
At any time that a campaign is running, you are allowed to increase the length of it. However, if the campaign has already passed its end date or has been deactivated by you, there is an activation option which lets you activate the same campaign with the option of editing details or keeping it exactly as is.
5. What do I do if I am finding difficulty setting up my campaign?

Reports

1. What kind of feedback can I receive regarding responders to my campaign
As a client you have access to three types of reports on the system at all times:
1. Campaign Use Report – Shows the amount of use of your campaigns
2. Campaign Texters Report – Shows details of the texters that have texted your campaign’s keyword [available on keywords DATA PLAN (244) Shortcode only]
3. Post Report – Provides the addresses of the texters that have texted your post campaigns [available on keywords DATA PLAN (244) Shortcode only]
Furthermore, you also receive an email advising you of the mobile number that has texted to your campaign and you can opt to receive reports of campaign use on a 4 hourly, daily, weekly or monthly basis when setting up your campaign [available on keywords DATA PLAN (244) Shortcode only]
2. How do I get to see the Phone numbers and Email addresses of people that have interacted with my Campaign?
Phone numbers and Email addresses can only be viewed on DATA Campaigns (shortcode 244 in New Zealand). To view the details you need to run a Campaign Texters report or click on the NO. of Responses in a Campaign Use Report.


Agents

1. How do I become a TXT2GET Agent and what am I expected to do?
Simply register your personal details or company details in the ‘Become an Agent’ section and you will be issued an Agent ID. Agents are expected to market TXT2GET to other companies/individuals and refer them to the website to register as clients and purchase Keywords and setup Campaigns
2. As an Agent, am I supposed to undertake any training?
At present there is no formal training held for Agents however there are Sales Material provided as well as an option to undertake a trial campaign to familiarise yourself with the system. Also, you can seek assistance through mobi@txt2get.co.nz or 0800 330012 at any time.
3. I’ve already used my one trial campaign but would like more practice with other types of campaigns. Help?
Deactivate your current campaign and start over again using the same keyword and different type of campaign.
4. As an Agent, how do I get Sales Material?
There is Sales Material online when logged in as an Agent, that you can download and use to present to prospective clients. You will see it in the Resources section when logged in as an Agent.
5. What do I need an Agent business card for and how long does it take for an Agent business card to come through?
Business Cards have Agent Ids on them which you can give to prospective clients to ensure that they enter your Agent ID when registering. Without that we can’t pay you the 15% commission. Business Cards should come through in 5 working days.
6. How much do I get paid as an Agent?
You receive 15% of all the revenue you generate for TXT2GET. That’s 15% of all
- Free campaign Premium text revenue (Revenue on 99c texts is 50c Vodafone & 54c Telecom, and on $4.50c texts is $3.01 Vodafone & $2.70 Telecom) - all including GST.
- Keyword purchases
- Data campaign monthly subscription fees
7. When do Agents get paid?
Approximately 6 to 8 weeks after the text transaction. Why? We need to be paid by the Telcos for any text revenue before we can pay you.
8. As an Agent, how do I know how much money I should be paid?
The Agent report allows you to see how much money TXT2GET will pay you and how much money your clients campaigns are generating.
9. As an Agent, can I see who my clients are?
Yes you can see all your clients, their contact information and the campaigns they have active. However you cannot amend their campaigns without access to their account.
10. As an Agent, how do I ensure a prospective client ensures I become their agent?
At the time of registration the client should place your ‘Agent ID’ in the ‘Agent ID’ field. If you believe a client has created an account and not entered your Agent ID, ask them to do so.
11. Can I be an Agent and introduce the company I work for to the system?
You sure can! Contact us on either mobi@txt2get.co.nz or 0800 333012 and we can give you more assistance.
12. Can I be an Agent and a Client at the same time?
You sure can! If you have registered as one already, when registering for the other the system will automatically pick up your details and you will only need to fill in additional details. Furthermore, when you login, you can switch from Campaign Manager to Agent Manager or vice versa under ‘Switch Section’.
